Pigs Fly
In Fayetteville, there are random statues of pigs. This may seem strange and not be true to your neck of the woods, but I suppose it's part of the charm here in Kosse's hometown. At the library, the pig was decked out as a turkey for the Thanksgiving season with feathers and more and Ky and Kosse loved it. Can you guess which costume the pig was dressed in for Christmas?

Let's Write Letters
I like to make sure Ky has some direction to all that genius rolling around in his head. I am a big fan of this dry erase book that has letters, shapes and more.
Now check out the writer in the making:
I think he's getting very good at most of the alphabet. Go, Ky! |
Does this look right to you? |
I can do anything brother can! I'm a big boy too with big boy attitude! |
Choo-choo; All Aboard!
Ky, Kosse and I picked out a gingerbread train to make and give to Kaleb for what would have been his 3rd birthday.
As a funny side story to this post, when I picked up the train the day before we were taking it to Kaleb, I noticed a little "mouse" had been sneaking candy pieces off of the back of the train. When confronted with the evidence, Ky simply said that if Kaleb was here he'd want to eat them too. I couldn't help but think he was probably right...
This is the kit. |
Finished train. Incidentally, this was much harder than I anticipated but Ky and I pushed through and I think did a pretty good job. |
Kosse helped KB and I by repositioning the train several times. |
