Doin' the Crib 180

While I get ready for work Kosse has some time to perform his masterpieces on his piano and when he's finished he likes to explore the crib as much as he can.
This is his starting position and he seems to wonder why I'm interrupting his song with a flash.
Once he gets his legs to the side he pushes against the bars to help him turn.
A little toe touch and stretch before completing the turn.
I made the turn...now what?
But now my legs can't reach.
Pick me up and give me kisses!

If you're happy and you know it...

This morning after work I decided that bacon and eggs sounded like a good breakfast.  I tend to hold Kosse most of the time (it's possible he's a little spoiled) but I did not think frying bacon and baby holding go together.  So I brought Kaleb's chair from the boys' room into the kitchen with the hopes Kosse would be content to watch from there.  The middle pull toy on the bar plays "If you're happy and you know it" when you pull the toy down and I would start it every little bit.  Just as I thought I would turn to pull it I heard the song start followed by the joyous laughter of my little boy.  Perhaps I'm stretching but I think he was so excited to figure it out.  This proud moment for me was followed by twenty more minutes of a continuous pull and play of the song.  But I didn't even care.  It's my new favorite song!

Shots are not fun!

I love giving smiles and slobbers!
I'm so close to sitting on my own!
Airplane pose-am I suppose to learn to fly too?
Kosse had his 4 month check-up today.  He is 25 inches long and 14 lbs 10.5 oz.  He didn't mind any of the poking and proding until the shots. He criedvery hard until he turned bright red and I'm convinced he gave  me a look of disapproval. The doctor said he is doiing well and on track with his scooting and cooing and all those fun things! I'm naturally proud of my growing and learning baby boy!

I want that granola bar brother!

"Hard Work"

Ky is extremely excited about his shovel.  He was ready to tackle the whole yard until \he declared, "this is hard work!" Subsequently, the shovel has found a home at the top of the laundry room shelves when I heard a "CHARGE!" yell and came into the kitchen to find Ky pretending he was a knight at full speed on the horse/shovel.
Ky was responsible for picking the layout of the plants.  He informed me,"Kosse would help but he can't talk"
A bit of cheery color by our door!

Milestone alert!

So Kosse was sitting in his swing with his duck rattle placed next to him and what do you know next time I walked by he had picked it up and was soaking it in his slobber! I was so excited for him I grabbed him up and started kissing his adorable cheeks - much to his dismay!  Through that he held tightly to his duck prize until a flash thought of I should capture this to show on the blog occurred to me.  This is all I captured and Kosse was done with the duck.  But I am a proud moma!

Moving boxes...forts!

I'm not sure about this!
Is this what you meant by more space?
Now we're talkin....a roof!
