Halloween Cookie Artists

I was happy to have the four kiddos together last weekend.  They did a great job decorating cookies and only "tested" the frosting a few times each!

Plus Mohawks

Last year the boys had matching skeleton hoodies.
(Oh, my heart!)
And this year, there is matching skeleton hoodies with a bonus Mohawk on the hood.

Ball Retrieval

(That's the fly swatter with the metal end under the dryer.)

He's holding his bouncy ball!

Chugga, chugga, choo, choo, Kosse!

KB bought Kosse a "Thomas the Train" hat and mitten set.  Kosse loved it and wore it for hours.  He even wanted to wear it badly enough to work at eating dots while wearing mittens!

Happy Birthday, Granpa!

Huh? It's Granpa's birthday?
I'm coloring my arms with marker in celebration!
I love you, Granpa!  Have a great day and I wish I was there to celebrate with you!

Kickboxer Kosse

The working out part of losing weight proves to be a challenge.  While gyms with childcare are out of the budget, naptime seems to be the only time I can do a workout video at home.  But, I do like to sleep too at naptime at least during the week...I have hopes that as Kosse gets older he won't be as interested in what I'm doing.  This morning I set the laptop with a kickboxing video on the television stand and the following pictures are Kosse's kickboxing workout.  There was lots of kicking and jumping and running through my legs.  I didn't get much of a workout myself, but I did enjoy the time with Kosse!

Get ready to kick!

Pumpkins for painting, Pumpkins for carving

The Painter:

For some reason, this picture tugged at my heart...

The Carver:

He whined extensively about how gross this was. I did the majority of cleaning it out.

Works of Art!

Birthday Cakes and "Cut" Fingers

Ky made a cake for their dad's birthday while Kosse took his nap.

Ky said he was going to put red icing on his finger to make it look like he cut it and then he wanted me to take a picture of it.  What made me smile and actually play along is that he said it was "in the spirit of the Halloween season" how funny!
