Homemade Booster Seat

Kosse fashioned this heart attack with lots of pulling, pushing, and grunting.  Since he has tried this, he also tried Kaleb's "happy if you know it" rocker and the wooden rocker.  He actually managed to get Kaleb's rocker on the couch but I had to put a stop to it (moma determined it was too dangerous!).  Once he is determined to accomplish something, there's no stopping him!

Lights, Camera, Action, Kosse!

Sometimes I can't wait for Kosse to start using words as a form of communication.  Now he uses this form of communicating to get his point across:
A few glimpses of Kosse....

Remember these (time goes by too fast):

Now Hiring

Last weekend a commercial for a transformer came on the television during morning cartoons several times.  It was a robot that changed into a dragon and Kosse went crazy for the dragon.  He would stop playing, reach out his arms toward the screen and say ahhh loudly.  I mentioned this to his father because it is a new occurrence and the next day he showed up with the transformer.
This is it.  Notice it is somewhere between dragon and robot.
This is why it is somewhere  between the two.
So, I'm on the hunt to employee a 7 to 8 year old boy who has at least a clue as to what in the world is going on!!!  Kosse still likes the toy but I can't help but think he'd be more excited if it was the dragon.  I am definitely at a loss.....

Kosse at Play

Hmmm? What am I doing?  I'm busy dragging toys into the living room.
Wrestle the bear, pinned ya!
Where's the yellow block?
What's over here to play with?
Let's move on to something else.  I love to keep busy!

What Do I Do Now?

"What do I do now?" might start being a common title in my blog....Each morning I take Kosse's diaper off and let him "air out" a while.  He loves running around naked and it's never been a problem.  But yesterday morning and then again today, as soon as his diaper was off, he ran to the bathroom, lifted up the seat, and promptly peed on the rug in front of the toilet!
As an extra note to this situation, now that he's strong enough to lift up the lid and seat on the toilet, lots of items have made their way to the trash via the toilet bowl...gross!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Any excuse for a cake is a good one.
We added green food coloring in the spirit of celebration.
Green cake, anyone?
Ky was so adorable and sweet when he asked me if we could have a piece of cake already or if we had to wait for Patrick to get here since it was his cake for his day!

Buy Me Some Peanuts and Crackerjacks

I attempted to take the boys to a Razorback Baseball game yesterday.
Ky enjoyed playing in the grass with some other kids and climbing on the lowest bleacher (which I was kindly informed is NOT allowed.)
And whether it was growing pains or teething or just random grumpiness, this was Kosse's feeling about the adventure:
We didn't stay for the whole game.  But the day turned around when we got home and everyone was in better spirits.  I guess sometimes even kids just enjoy the comforts of home.

Happy Birthday, Milo!

Huh?  It's your birthday, cuz?
That's something to smile about!
Happy birthday, Milo!  We love you!

Eggs, anyone?

While picking up a few groceries, Ky saw the egg dying kits and immediately wanted to know if we could dye eggs.  I thought, "Why not?"  It's not Easter weekend yet, but something fun is worth doing a couple times.
What is this?  You usually don't let me hold these.
Ky in complete shock when Kosse spilled the first spill of the day..."it wasn't me!"
13 eggs started the journey and Ky is very proud of the 9 that made it through decorating.   Hardboiled egg, anyone?

Playing Outside

Well, is spring here?  Yesterday was beautiful and warm.  Kosse enjoyed running around the duplex in one large circle.   I would prefer he run circles only in the backyard but he did let me snap a few pics before he was off on his circle "track" again.
Run, run, run!
I love sticks.
Check out the monsterous slobber!
Can I see that?
I love running outside!  Let's go some more!
