Celebrating a Very Merry Christmas

Some of these pictures are from last weekend and others are from Christmas morning with the boys.  It has been a great couple of weeks feeling the love of family near and far!

There were lots of games such as go fish...

and 52 card pick up...

Kosse received a doll that comes with his own bathtub from his Uncle Lucas, Auntie Amber and the boys.  After 50 baths, this is the cleanest doll ever...haha

The doll even got to warm up after his bath in Kosse's blanket.

Fake mustaches are fun!

So are new pjs!

(Oh, my heart!)

Candy Cane

It is coming closer to 2 am. Is anyone else awake trying to figure out how to make the candy cane a 7 year old was excited to leave Santa look like it's been partially eaten without having to actually eat it themselves (not exactly a huge candy cane fan)?  I broke a large portion off but I'm going for the "I just didn't finish it look" and who bites off a candy cane?  Ha ha....

Watching Over Us

This morning on my way to pick up Kosse I had just drove onto a bridge when the truck in the opposite lane hit a patch of ice and turned sideways sliding toward me with its engine in the opposite lane, its cab on the yellow line, and its bed coming directly toward me in my lane.  I froze.  Everyone was going along around the 55 mph limit and I am sure it all happened very fast but all I can remember thinking is that truck is going to slam right into me, when at the last possible second it changed direction, sliding sideways to the way it should be going but forward for how it was pointed across the opposite two lanes to the shoulder.  Nothing short of amazing, all the cars on the opposite side avoided hitting the truck and each other although there was some fishtailing and I'm sure everyone's stomachs' were in knots.  I want to say a thank you prayer and I hope you will too for God watching over Kingston and I today.

Precious Kaleb

Dear son Kaleb, Moma can hardly believe you would be turning 5 years old!  Starting kindergarten, learning to ride a bike, and being a great big brother! I think of you in heaven often and I love and miss you very much!  For always, your Moma
