Preparations

I bought pionsettas for Kaleb this week and today Ky, Kosse and I decorated gingerbread men to take tomorrow to the cemetery.

How sweet!

Kosse did some quality control on the icing and candies...

Ky asked for the spelling and labored over Kaleb's name...

....not too bad for the fact it's hard to control the icing.

Welcome to the family, Eeyore!

Last night Eeryore arrived singing Jingle Bells all the way from Hutchinson, KS. Thank you, Grammie, for sending a little Christmas cheer!  I pushed the button once, Ky pushed the button once, Kosse's turn came and it was all over for the rest of us....he thinks it is too funny and fell asleep to the sound of jingle bells last night with a big smile on his face.

Light on, Light off

Kosse received a great stepstool from Auntie Aundrea, Uncle Chuck, Alison, Amelia, and Charlie for his 2nd birthday.  He carries it around with him in the house and I think he is trying to show he has big boy muscles because it seems a little on the heavy side for a 2 yr old.  Currently, his favorite place for it is underneath the lightswitch in  the bedroom.  He likes to stand there and turn the light on and the light off and the light on and the light off...

Great Weekend

Best Buds
At meal times, you could witness the best friends passing food back and forth.  Too cute.
There was pin the tail on the donkey...
and tattoos...

and playing outside...

and story time...
and visiting Kaleb.
It was a great time!

Happy Birthday, Kosse!

As Kosse learns new accomplishments in life and reaches new milestones, I always think in the back of my mind of Kaleb and how joyous it would have been to share these steps with him too.  But I know that God did truly bless me with Kosse.  He is an awesome kid with an awesome heart.  He's always hopping everywhere these days, and I hope and pray that kind of joy stays in him his whole life!  I know he couldn't have a moma that loves him more than me...my heart is full to have him in my life these past two years and many more blessed times together to come.  I can't believe how fast they fly by.
Dear Son,
Slow down a little.  I want to cherish every moment!
Love, Moma
