Let's Play, Moma

Kosse is saying more.  Yesterday after his bath he looked in the mirror and said "I'm all wet!" Today he communicated by dragging me in the kitchen and motioning for me to sit.  Then he handed me one ball and sat across from me with the other ball.  He said "Roll, Moma" and when the ball I rolled got near him he rolled his ball to hit it out of the way.  Then he laughed so hard and I did too.  I love this kiddo.

Egg Hunt

I took the boys to Wilson Park for a free egg hunt Wednesday.  There was carnival games to play before the hunt.

The hunts were divided by age and naturally Ky and Kosse were in different groups.  However, I thought it would work out well because the start times were suppose to stagger and the two-yr-olds were first.  I told Ky if he patiently watched brother then he would have his egg hunt.  Well, whoever was in charge of the elementary division didn't wait and sure enough Ky did not get any eggs.  He was visibly disappointed and I felt like the worst moma ever! After the hunts, everyone was gathered together to talk about what Easter means but before that the mc apologized and said he had heard some kids did not get to hunt.  Ky raised his hand and was asked on stage to tell his name and where he went to school...
And he gave Ky this....
He was excited!  After that, we had hotdogs picnic style.

Busy Boys

Ky  made a bird food ball at school which we hung in his front yard.

Kosse tried out the tire swing and both boys enjoyed the hammock.

There were several races on scooters.

Big Boy Bed

I wasn't sure Kosse's transition to a toddler bed was going to go well when this was the scene.
But it turned out that Kosse was objecting to the fact that not ALL of his crib buddies had made the transition also.

Being a moma can definitely tug at your heart.  I might be peeking in on my big boy a few times in the night.
