Botanical Gardens Revisited

I love taking the boys here!  They are so happy and full of wonder at everything.  As Kosse gets older, he gets more brave and gives me lots of heart attacks but I am filled with joy when he's running to the chickens or the ponds and yelling "Aaaaaaaah!" the whole time because I know he's filled with joy too.

The chicken coop is always a must see favorite!

Hello, Fun City, Our Old Friend

The family "fun fund" has been a little light on the "fund" part lately, but the boys had a blast on $10 worth of tokens, and we treated to some hot n' ready pizza on the way home.

These are a few of my favorite things...

Kosse tickled me while grocery shopping today.  As I picked out items that he was excited about, he wanted them in the top section with him.

He had green beans, pickles, and kraft slices along with the dish soap.

When I mistakenly placed the dressing for the tuna salad in the top, he was quick to move it to the bottom section....have to keep our purchases separated, moma!

Good Morning, Saturday!

I'm happy to get Ky back for the weekend.  We miss him here during the week.  Several times Kosse carried around his picture book this week while he was playing and saying, "brudder."  Ky's enjoying some oatmeal for breakfast:

Ky is in Kindergarten!

Ky was excited for his first day of school Monday.  When I asked him Monday evening how it went he recapped the day by saying:  he had a sandwich, oranges and brownie for lunch, he cut paper with scissors and the teacher almost was hit by a swing at recess.  He seemed a little down about the day.  He said that his dad didn't stay  ( I'm not sure if he thought KB would be there all day too or not) and that the kids there didn't say excuse me when they bumped into you.  Maybe he was just a little overwhelmed by the newness of it...at any rate I pray for him all the time and I hope you keep him in your prayers too.  I love him very much!

Crafts and Games

Last night the kiddos worked on some crafts (courtesy of Gran) and played a few rounds of Purble place.  I love having them together.  Tonight it will be straight to bed for everyone.. 3 out of 4 have to get up for the first day of school tomorrow!
